honda engine to subaru transmission

Default honda engine to subaru transmission

ok i need to connect my honda engine to a subaru transmission and was furred here for help
dose any one know of a place that sells an adapter plate or any one that has done this before

I've never heard of such a transplant, but it doesn't mean it hasn't been done. What's the project? Enquiring minds want to know!

mine is sand rail but i have a following gaining speed with the vw guys and subaru and off road people, i will give credit where credit is due if some one has answers

Ok what kind of Honda engine as in F-series, B, H, D and if so what is the motor code F20, F22, B16? What trans of Subaru? WRX STI, year etc. Some more info might help.

D16 to start but may want to build it once its a runner driver. however i should be under 1500lb so may not need it the trans is a 1984
gl 4 speed hi low but they are all the same bell housing so if i dont use the low part i will go to a 5 speed. I have a feeling im goint to like it in low for climbing stuff...loyale has a 5speed with hi/low...

Any good race car fabrication shop should be able to do this. Search under "race fabrication parts" and look for transmission adapters.

I would contact tilton. I am sure they can do it. they have the most broadest platform experience IMO.
