what's honda thinking to update their hi millage cars europe and or n america?

is there a specific Insight replacement they are trying to squeeze out.

 

They should create something to battle the Prius and have better looks. But i doubt honda wants to buy technology from toyota.

 

Nissan did with the altima hybrid...

 

I thought the Insight was dropped because there was not much demand for it anymore and Honda also had other super thrifty cars like Civic hybrid.

 

The Inisght was a halo car that was used just to boost image. Some reports say the next Insight is mid engined and supposedly to get higher mpg than the previous.

Cool... the Geneva Show is going on right now, so I hope they'll show off the new hybrid! I always thought the Insight as the new CRX, but now that there's rumors it'll be a sports hybrid, maybe the dream will be closer to reality.

 

Absolutely positively not, in any way, ever. I agree that they could probably field a better Prius competitor, but that doesn't mean licensing someone else's engine technology.

Honda is first and foremost an engine company.

 

Yes but Nissan really has nothing to do with Honda. They don't build motorcycles, jet engines, small utility engines, or generators either.
