Cars like the civic hatch type r ek9, ep3, fd2 that never made it to the US, the 10 year delay on the nsx and esp. now that acura does not have a manual in their line up has caused honda enthusiast to search elsewhere. Wrx, sti, Evo and GTR dominated sales from 2000-until present. Then honda allowed the tuner companies to make all the money trying to replicate JDM for the above named models. I would of given an arm a leg and my STI, for an Ek9 in championship white. Now they are trying to catch up.

Not much to say - a few bright spots in a pretty poor month, overall.

It doesn't surprise me. Again, they aren't selling anything interesting anymore. They froze in the recession, now they're paying the price. Their domestic competitors all got stronger between 2008-2012; Honda cut lines and paused programs. HELLO!

Wrong...that has nothing to do with a few months of sale decline. The tuner world taking all the money? What? Lol

How did you even come to that conclusion? How many of those civic type r or si did Honda sale versus the main stream line up? Those cars do nothing but add a little flavor FOR US, a tiny tiny portion of the car buying population.

It's official I think Tommy goes out of his way. Searches the Web just to find articles like this to downplay honda.

I wouldn't say froze so much as I'd say overreacted and pulled back. Honda is too conservative, and its products are not competitive unless you're buying the brand's image.
