The problem with collecting a Ford is trying to keep it stock. Five years from now half the parts will have been replaced in recalls.

Yeah, but what I have seen is that for some people 150k and 600k are the exact same thing. They have so much money (think 1000X) that 150k and 600k mean the same thing to them. I don't know if that is this guy's story, but I wouldn't doubt it.

that's what it sounds like to me. especially the line that goes something like "the fact that someone paid this much shows us that the GT is a great value and everyone wants it." It sounds to me like Ford was trying to create some extra hype.
