Default HSC Turbo?

Interesting speculation from TOV on the next gen NSX.

3.5L turbo V-6 with 400 HP.

btw, please read the disclaimer by TOV.

It's weird because Honda usually tries to stay away from F/I on almost all their cars; the next gen NSX could probably still outdo many of its competitors with or without F/I in this case a turbo...

I'm thinking that's just a test motor. An NA 3.5L V6 with 400hp and a high redline seem more realistic. That's only 114HP/Liter - a walk in the park for Honda!

I agree. I'm pretty sure Honda is just testing a mule with the NSX suspension to see how it handles 400 HP. The turbo, and the 4 spd auto is just to throw us off.

yeah i doubt they'll just throw a turbo on it. it'll most likely be the same breed of engines that went in the current nsx and the s2000. small, NA, high-winding, and powerful.

Honda will not likely put a turbo in the new nsx. Honda has always strived for great performance with great reliability in all their passenger cars. Mostlikely it will be anot high reving na engine and still a V6.
