Today I have driven the Z8. I have previously written in this forum asking if anyone had driven it and had a flurry of great responses. Now I have finally fulfilled this automotive dream.

A friend and owner of said Z8 was visiting me in the office this morning and finishing the business spiel we quickly got on to cars. Quicker than I knew what was happening he said

 

I want to drive one too.. Those are pretty sexy.

Nice review, DW. I would *love* the chance to drive one of those beauties. It's possible that its refinement may not provide as much an exhilarating as one may like, but it more than makes up for that in sheer beauty. I think the Z8 is one of the most stunningly gorgeous cars of the last many years. Takes many styling cues from the 507, so I don't know how much credit I would give to Bangle...but he did pull off a magnificent product with this car.

Hopefully I'll be able to drive one one of these days...

I've seen 2 this week, (its the area, Ferrari dealership 1 mile away), awesome. I saw one up close and talked to the owner. Seeing that car so close and in motion is unbelievable.

 

I too hold the dream of driving a Z8 someday.I did sit in one and had some up close and personal time with one, and simply fell in love. Hopefully soon I will turn this dream into a reality!
