Default I need a more practical car, help me decide.

I have a 2000 Silverstone with 32,000 miles.

I am spending entirely too much money on the S, and it's just not practical.

I drive too fast, I worry too much, I lose sleep, etc...

I want to trade in for a four door, sporty car, preferably without spending any, or too much, extra money.

I am considering the following (though I am open to other suggestions).

Mazda 6

Subaru WRX

Acura RSX

Saab 9-3 Nearest dealer is far away and it's somewhat out of my price range.

Maybe you guys could give me some insight and offer up some other options that may have slipped my mind.

And this is not a sure thing, just a thought.

Thanks a bunch,

Barrett

Of the cars you listed, I'd personally opt for the Mazda.

Also consider the G35, a 330i, and TL-S.

WRX of the things you have listed, but also consider the EVO 8 if you are in for a high performance sedan..

You mentioned the RSX, if two doors is an option, look into the
Accord coupe six-speed. If the exterior styling leaves you cold at first (it did for me), drive it. You won't be disappointed!

i agree with bluey! both the rsx and the new accord coupe offer some sportiness of the s2000 but with lots of practicality!

G35 Coupe, it's as fun to drive as the S2000, and definitely more practical car than the S.

Mazda 6

Subaru WRX

Acura RSX

All good

I'd not touch a sabb (overpriced)

The best one you forgot is the TSX (is that what it's called?) the new acura larger than the RSX (it is a modified accord).

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I didn't think of the Accord, I guess I'll have to drive it.

I do see a lot of chicks driving the two doors though.

I think the exclusivity (exclusiveness) of the WRX is kinda like what I'm looking for.

Maybe tighten up the suspension for more of a street feel. It's also very aftermarket friendly from what I understand.

I've been told not to get a Subaru, because it's like a toy car. As if it isn't built to the same standards as a Honda.

I have to get some body work on my S before I can try to get rid of it.

Can anyone relate to how much I will miss it? I'm starting to get freaked out.

Also,

I don't like the style of the TSX

TL, 330, Evo 8, and G35 (What I really want) are out of price range for me.

I just found out that Ford supplies the 6 cylinder engine for the Mazda. Don't want that.

It's really looking like WRX, I'll let ya'll know when I drive some of these cars.

Thanks again.
