And I thought the M2 was ugly........
I was about to say "why are we going all Azteky again?" and then I scrolled down lol. I never have been a fan of the tupperware vehicles. Not to mention the Outback was a car sized wagon.... it just keeps turning into yet another CUV thing. And now its like they just have 2 Foresters
I liked the previous Outback with the turbo boxer 4. I always recommended it to colleagues, friends, for a family mover. This “look” off-road, but can’t really do off-road is some trendy bs. People want to “look” outdoorsy. Marketing at its finest. Bunch of suckers out there.
we love our '16 outback manual shift- my wife says this new outback is not, er, acceptable. So, looking for a low mileage, manual shift, previous gen. These really are one of the best family daily drivers though.

I don't find it offensive, literally could swap the badges with anything and I wouldn't notice, it's just the design language these days and I prefer this to the jelly beans a decade ago.
Subarus are actually decent for doing practical outdoorsy stuff while still having good around town and highway manners. I find that more CUVs these days are pushing their capabilities, like the Rav4 now has more ground clearance for instance.

I'm not a fan of those army green paint colours, not for me. Subarus are great in the slippery stuff, so many vehicles try to switch power from front to rear and side to side, I find the Subaru systems very stable and secure feeling despite not using vectoring or shifting of drive power.
