My friend owns a VW and recently sent me a thread he came across that involved the s2000. Upon reading it, I was laughing so hard at the thread i wnated to share it with you guys...

I really liked how the idiots insulted each other. . . sometimes it ranged from deadpan insults to something more sublime. For idiots, many of them (not all) knew how to put a sentence together.
Very strange.

I wonder what would happen if we let steve c in there? Could we even stand to see the carnage that would ensue?

 

That thread looked reasonable until someone (deepspeed12 -- you?) got all flamey.

Just because someone doesn't like the S2000 doesn't make them ignorant. Also, read s2ki.com sometime -- there are lots of people on this forum who aren't exactly Nobel laureates either.

i agree, that's why i posted - RWD is better is my name there.

 

I used to have a 1.8T GTI and used this forum regularly. It was not bad except for the younger crowd that thought that VW's were superior to any other cars on the road while they were 16 and never even driven anything else. My GTI was quick and a blast to drive it just had no sex appeal!

 

 

Does the S2000 have roof leaking problems? I have never heard that?

Other than that its sounds like a bunch of people commenting on a car they have never driven. Much of that goes on in this board, with the Viper vs NSX vs Corvette vs Ferrari vs 1993 Subaru Legacy Wagon vs Ford Gt.

(wagon is mine, bow down to the grocery getter)

 

yeah, a lot of people comment on things they dont know about.

My name there is BoricuaVR6... I used to have a 01 GTi VR6 once.

 

i post regularly there too...i just get tired of it because there are too many people, too many people who think the 1.8t is god, and too many people who hate any car that isnt european..and most arent properly educated about automobiles making rational conversation extremely difficult
