I have a love-hate relationship with SUVs. I love them, as long as I don't HAVE to drive them....

 

but why?

 

they're actually pretty cool cars. my boss has the G55.

 

Sorry, I'll take one of those Jeep SRT8 instead, they look modern and fast as a bucket.

 

Der Gelandewagen has always been my favorite Merc SUV. Well, my favorite German SUV period. Not sure I'd get one, but I like the rugged pin-stripe look.

I love it too, they are built like the Mercedes of old (like a brick shithouse), and almost as capable offroad as a Defender 90, Wrangler, H1, or Range Rover. A great vehicle if you have the need for its capabilities.

 

There's one that lives near me and I get a kick out of seeing it, especially if it's going around a corner with any velocity. I guess, if you're going to drive an SUV, you may as well get the real deal. And yes, a brick shithouse on wheels is the perfect description.

 

 

I guess I'm a crackhead too then because that is one of my favorite SUV's too!! I would so rock a G-wagen.
