Who knows anymore. Sometimes it seems like classes of vehicles are confined to one specific vehicle from one specfic manufacturer.

I've read articles that put the BMW 3-Series as "entry luxury" or "near-luxury". What's that? If I had one I'd very much consider it luxury.

I would consider a BMW, any of them, sporty with luxury thrown in. "Sporty" gets used on anything that feels fast when hit the accelerator pedal. Hyundais have been called "sporty"

I personally would consider the S2000 moe psort than luxury, but then again the S2000 interior is very nice IMHO.

It's all down to personal taste and impression if you ask me.

Something like the M5 and M3 is both sport and luxury.

A lot of people will say MBs with only autoshifters are not sporty. That's open to debate when you look at the SLR or the SL55 etc...

I dont think there's such thing as very sporty and luxurious at the same time. If a car is sporty, the ride suffers; and if a car is luxurious, it's often very heavy, which I wouldn't consider as "sporty."

If someone considers the autoshift or triptronic shifting to be not sporty, then are the paddle shifters very far behind?? Something to think about.

I have a hard time understanding why a true sports car cannot be luxurious and vice versa
