Default Importing a CTR from japan?

http://www.japan-partner.com/Auto/2627/Hon...r-for-sale.html

How can this be done? Is there any problems with emissions, or anything like that. This would be a nice daily driver. Thanks for any help.

How about importing a Euro spec LHD ep3 CTR from any European country which had LHD?

Or How about starting locally with a cheap rolling chassis of your choice then add a engine/tranny/suspension combo for much less than the cost and headache of importing a RHD from Japan?

Damn that looks clean, but I've heard it's a nightmare to import over and get legalized... If you want it, go for it... Nothing's impossible these days...

you will spend more $ trying to legalize it than tha accual car costs....I tried getting a beat up r32 2 years back and the legalization costs were over 10 grand

All this, plus the fact that this "daily driver" would probably be in your possesion for a matter of days before it was stolen.

Absolutely. You better have garage with double-bolted entrances to keep an original nice and safe. My suggestion to you is to do like all the other, and buy the parts to make your own CTR. A US Civic HB is already legalized (if not RHD), and I can't imagine it'll cost you $15 grand to get it to CTR specs, unless you paint it. After all, what makes the CTR a CTR is the engine, tranny and suspension. You're looking at maybe $10k for all that after buying the car, so it should be no big thing. Expensive daily driver though.

Some of those prices are Great but i would doubt any RHD Honda would last before it got ripped off. I have always wondered how much it would cost to legalize it to drive it with a title? I am sure its ALOT though

You could bring the car in as a parts car only, do some shady VIN stuff and you'll have your car. Is it worth it? Probably not... Sounds like a lot that car if you didn't have to do anything...
