the G35 is usually a mid 14 second car. The 350z is faster than it and we know the s2k and 350z is a drivers race. I can't belive you posted that comment up their man......Unless you suck at driving the s2k.

For 2005, G35s will be getting between 290-300 hp, making them a bit faster (probably Z fast). As of right now they are a tick slower than the s2000 until speed builds where the G35 is faster.

G35C and S2000 is still a driver's race, but the G35c is slightly slower than a 350z. The S2000 definitely has to be driven harder to put down the same numbers, I don't think anyone can deny that, but it's certainly doable. The 350z has some of the same room for improvement over what most people get. Aside from the Road & Track (I think it was) article where they re-tested the 350z at the strip, most mags get worse times than most Z drivers. I've personally gotten a 13.78 @ 101 with a bone stock (stock tires, with spare tire, no intake, exhaust, nothing) 350. The weather was not perfect, but it was pretty close to the SAE temp/humidity, just a little more humid than I would have liked.

^^ you're talking about the skyline GTR...and no, stock to stock you'll get your a$$ toasted by a well driven 6-spd g35 coupe (straight line race).
not true.

my boss has one. we have raced on multiple occasions over the past year and the s2k edges him out in the g35 6spd everytime by about a car length.

So, you beat your boss in a drag race on multiple occations over the past year and you're still employed? Must be a cooler boss than most. Congratulations ... on your boss and your winnings.
