Default Input on 2008 Acura RL please

I currently have a 2008 BMW 135i 6spd MT with only sport package and comfort access (13,6xx miles). I really like the performance and handling of my 135i but I need a more practical sedan. My car has been running perfectly without any HPFP issues.

My car is in flawless condition

I came across this CPO 2008 RL (Asking $29,998 at 33,308 miles) and I want to trade in my car for it. It is a fleet vehicle according to carfax. Is that good or bad? The link below is for the RL.

How much money do you think I would have to put out in order to get this RL? Please give me your inputs. Thanks

$30k seems high for the RL. It's a great car...but deals can be had on them for less $. I almost bought one before my Passat and of course, after owning that POS VW...I really wish I _had_ bought the RL. If I had to do it all over again, I would've gotten the RL. I think it's a very understated car...but I also like that about it.

As for it being a fleet vehicle...it was likely a company owned car...say an accountant's car that had the car registered under a company name...or many times cars like this are purchased/leased and given to various folks for various reasons. Sketch sounding? Haha! Well, the car is probably A-OK... I wouldn't be concerned about that so much.

As for money down, etc...I have no idea what you owe on your 135i...if anything...and I don't know how they do on resale. I wouldn't imagine they are too hot at the moment given their size and 2 doors typically don't keep well on value.

Good luck.

My loan ($25k) was ~4% APR for 60 months. I owe around $16k ($465 for another 36 months) on my 135i. If I can just switch cars and continue paying my current monthly.

Test drive it, completely different drive from your 135i. I would think you would want a slightly more engaging car to drive, even if it is a sedan.

The RL is solid, but definitely not the greatest car for an enthusiast driver.

the RL is a great car, it does very well the sh awd. Its not a sports car but you can push them pretty hard, again its not an s2000 or a 135i.
As far as price 30k is a good price, 25k for an 08 with 30k miles is too cheap. Black book trade on 08 is in the high 20s.

i just spent a LOT of time shopping RLs, and 05/06s with reasonable mileage are low 20s. High 20s is certainly not unreasonable for a 2-3 year newer car.

I love it, but it isn't a sports car. certainly won't be anything like a 135, or at least so i'd imagine.

Look at the TL type S to get the blend of sport and sedan. They will run about 5K less also for the 07-08. The 09 is FUGLY
