One less great, reasonably light, rwd sports car on the market. A real shame to see it end...

With so many s2k fans past and present and 4X+ customers, Honda will be back in a few years. I doubt they burned the s3000 that they were playing with. Maybe it will come back hybrid power when they have a sport hybrid motor setup.

Just because they killed it dosent mean they wont replace it. They will just call it something different.

The only cars they will continue to name the same are the obvious: Civic, Accord, Pilot, CR-V, etc.

They will continue to keep giving the other indispensable cars identities that can keep switching. CRX-----> Del Sol Passport--> Pilot Integra---> RSX S2000--> who knows? NSX---> Its dead now but was going to called something diff

I think its about time they cancel it. It was a great car, but its not as potent as new cars that are out (even though its still a heck of a lot more fun to drive) and even though it was ahead of its time it has reached the point of either canceling it or a complete overhaul.

Hopefully they do make a next gen S2000 in the future and make it as cutting edge as this one was when it launched. Hopefully the make the newer version of the NSX too
