Default J.D. Power's 2006 Top-ranked Vehicles

Came across this article on BusinessWeek Online.

J.D. Power's 2006 top-ranked vehicles

The S2000 was a runner-up in the "Compact premium sporty car" category.

Toyota seemed to dominate with their models and Lexus models.

Interesting list. I noticed the Toyota "bias" as well.

I'm very surprised that the Odyssey and Sienna failed to make the van list...

Me too! I thought the Odyssey would certainly win that class.

Premium sporty car: Lexus SC 430 WTF

I love Toyota/Lexus but I always thought they missed the bar with this one. Guess I was wrong

What is everyone else's opinion on the SC 430? I did not think it was very fun to drive and I don't like the look at all. IMO!

BTW, I know this is a list for Quality but I was just interested to see what others thought.

I have the same opinion as you, NOT a fan of the SC430 at all.

I like almost everything about the SC430 (including looks), except its sporty nature (including handling and such).

I think the SC430 has about the most gorgeous interior on earth. If it had room for golf clubs, it would be the PERFECT car to cruise around to the country club in. It's the kind of car you'd want your wife to have, so you can drive it on the rare occasion you are in the mood for it; but the rest of the time I'd much rather have a Boxster/S for the same money.

LOL...I wouldn't place too much stock in an article that places the Porsche 911 as a runner up to the Lexus SC430...what a freakin joke.
