Default just drove a 350Z track package

nice car!!! still in breakin so I wasn't supposed to go past 4000rpm, but on one 1st gear turn I went to redline by mistake. oops.

steering feel is heavy and the flywheel needs to be lightened A LOT...but other than that it's a great car and I loved driving it. definately something I could get used to!

Next test is thunderhill on tuesday.

So far I give the car

And how does that "track" package compare to the "base" model if you will? What are the differences?

The added torque is very nice.
steering feels heavier.
clutch is shorter throw.
shifter is short.
flywheel is too heavy.
exhaust is too quiet.
seats are very comfortable.
interior is empty except for center console filled with controls.
ride is softer
it doesn't rev like the S.
it doesn't sound like the hard push of 9k, but more of a growling bear.
you can zone out in traffic, the S is a much more involved car.
you can't take a mountain drive at midnight and look straight up to see the stars.
rearview mirror view is EXTREMELY limited, it is wide but very narrow.
wide side mirrors.
brakes can be bled without removing the wheels.
volk 18" wheels are nice.

I don't remember all the differences...there's a build-your-own-Z page on the nissan site.
