today was a beautiful day in Lancaster, PA. Earlier i had been cruisin around with the top down on the S2000 running some errands. Went home, parked it in the driveway, then took the 996 out on my way to play some basketball with the guys. Well, on my way home it starts pouring rain. Pouring so hard, some cars were having to pull over to the side of road. As i'm approaching my neighborhood, some dude in a maroon Boxster got behind me and he was racing to get somewhere cause his top was down and he probably had a good inch of water in his car. Being the ass that i can be, i chuckled to myself and said "sucker" while looking at him in the rearview mirror. I pull in the driveway only to see that the top is still down on the S2000

I just spent the last 20 minutes drying that thing out

that should teach me to keep my mouth shut

Question - should you pull the seats & carpet to make sure the floor is dried out? I've had the pad under the carpets get soggy in winter & start to smell moldy on other cars I've owned.

Just a thought.

that's not karma. even if you had gone out of your way to assist this guy or even offered him the money to clean out and dry out the interior of his car, the fact would had still remained that the top of your s2000 was down and outdoors in the pouring rain. if your incident happened on some other day after your chuckling to yourself at the other guy's misfortune, than, yeah, maybe you can call it karma.

anyway, sorry to hear about your S.

Yikes, that is a bitch. I believe in the phrase, word is life. So I do my best to be humble and a good person and not throw negativity into the air.

That really bites.
