Default Keyless entry on the 2006 Miata

Has anybody seen the cool looking keyless entry system on the Miata? It's like a credit card. I saw it in the new Car and Driver mag and I remember seeing that it starts the car too.

It's almost the same as keyless go in MB's (which has been around for a while now).

I like it. I already have quite a few keys dangling off my belt (makes loud clinky sounds when walking), taking the FOB and extra key would be worth it. Plus, that way I don't have to remove anything from me when getting in and out. Just get in and drive. My syster has it on her Prius...really cool feature.

The same thing can be argued about power windows...what, everyone too lazy to roll down a window?

My C6 has keyless entry and start. All cars will have this some day. Its seems like a small thing, but it's really very nice.

There really is nothing exciting there. It look like a key fob because it is a key fob. You just don't need to pull it out. You get near the car and touch the membrane door handle and the door opens. As long as the fob is somewhere in the car, all you do is press the button on the dash and the car starts. When you exit the car it will lock automatically. Works with the trunk as well.
