I saw a new Lancer on the road yesterday...it definitely looks better.

I saw a red one on the road the other day. There's a black one parked in front of the local Mitsu dealer (right down the street from honda). I like it.. certainly a step up. Mitsu desperately needs to redesign much of their model line and this is a step in the right direction(although the previous lancer was probably the car that least needed an update).

After seeing the new Lancer at the car show, I'm a little worried. The Dodge DNA is showing through. I know how platform sharing works, but if you squinted your eyes just a little it looked like a cheap American car. I realize there is a chasm between the base Lancer and the Evo, so I can only hope the mad scientists at Ralliart sprinkle enough magic dust on this car to make it forget its Caliber roots.
