legacy 2.5t auto

Default legacy 2.5t auto

thinking about getting an auto legacy. does anyone know if they are any good? also, they dont seem to hold their value too well. an 05 is around 21k for low miles. i think this would be a good buy. what do you guys think

The auto is about as good as you'll get for a slushbox in any car.

Legacy as in wagon or 4-door?
The Legacy is basically an Outback but with a "normal" ride height.
My Mothe is on her 3rd Outback, she has had nothing but great luck with them.
I do have to say, we have no experience with the auto tranny, my 72-year old Mom runs a 5-speed...

Ive rented the new Legacy many times....the only thing i didnt like about the car is the cheap interior feel....Honda interiors are much nicer and more upscale feeling.

The auto isnt bad, especially when you look at the quality of the manual they have. They both have 5 forward gears, and the MT in the legacy felt terrible in my book, very vague with long-ish throws.

If you have to deal with traffic a lot I would consider it.
