Default Lexus GS!

I wanna start a thread talking about and gathering info on the new Lexus GS. I just saw a TV commercial for it, and oh boy, did it look good! Looks sportier than the previous gen. When I have a little more time, I'll find some pix to post. Or you guys can post them too.

What do you think of it?

Really go to www.clublexus.com They have an entire forum section just for the 3rd gen GS. You'll find everything there is to know about it there.

No really? I would expect a GS forum to talk about GS cars. But nah, I'm not looking to buy one, so I'm not that interested. I saw the commercial and wanted people here to discuss their opinions on it. But it doesn't matter.

i think lexus is on a roll. the new GS is as perfect as i've ever seen in a production vehicle. and their upcoming IS is not too shabby either.

I kinda drool everytime I see that commercial. One day soon, I'll go check it out in person.

Toyota and Lexus are coming at full force. D-day at Normandy is coming! I also love watching D-day invasion movies. Can we talk about those too?

you should. it really is an impressive car. of all the new production vehicle that were at this year's autoshow, the new GS impressed me the most, and by a huge margin compared with the rest. it's really that nice. can't wait to testdrive one though.

Test drove one about a month ago- it was very nice, but $60k for a loaded GS430 is a little steep IMO

I'm surprised by all the agreement. I saw the GS at the DC auto show this winter and from the third quarter view the car looked enormous, much too long, sort of boatlike. Front is nice; rear isn't bad. But imho they lost a lot of the unqiue styling of the GS. And lost it just as Acura seemed to be copying it!
