Quite impressive. The significant other drives an IS350. Handling not as crisp as the BMW 3, but overall seems a better buy.

overpriced and sides are to bland corrola looking. more power needed also, a lack of 6 speed also sucks.

Infinti will blow these away with the new models

Yes, the IS250 might need more power, but the IS350 has very good power delivery.

It's not just about the power. You can get 6.0L V8s for about the same money with 400hp or Hemi V8s etc..

But the Lexus is not a muscle car, tho it's about as quick as a Mustang GT for example.

That V6 might as well be a V8 since it's quicker than a 645Ci or 545i for example.

It's quicker than a 750i. I know those cars are heavier etc...but the point is people will pay for Luxury or features just as much as they'll pay for horsepower.

I think the IS350 is expensive but not unreasonable compared to a 330i.

But a Legacy GT is keeping close in acceleration. I'm looking forward to Subaru will take a swing with the 07 Spec.B (supposed to get a 6-speed MT, I'd like to see closer to STI power, that'd make a splash IMO).

I don't like the IS250 being very slow for the price, BMW got over that 2.5L engine deal. Lexus should deep six the 2.5L or else offer it as a stripper ultra low price entry with the 3.0L from the GS300 being the true volume engine IMO.

BTW the GS is getting the 3.5L this year as a 07 GS350
