the are focusing there efforts on the Cobra, but now killed all the other SVT stuff and that just sucks

No surprise, really. Ford holds the SVT line as "special" vehicles. There have been numerous years with no Cobra, and the Lightning wasn't supposed to be a sales leader anyway. If they didn't cease production every once in a while, the "Special" in Special Vehicle Team wouldn't mean much. The sky isn't falling, it's just an acorn

I'm not really a 'truck person' but I was looking forward to the new lightning...the prototype pics looked great and 500 blown hp is nothing to sneeze at. I'm glad to see them focusing on the Cobra I can't wait for the new bodystyle Mustang to arrive in Cobra form. I see alot of Lightnings on the road and am a little surprised they're killing it. They would be we served to continue the SVT focus but step up to the plate and throw a blower on it to compete with the Neon SRT...they would have a hot seller.

Yeah I don't think its a big deal. They'll probably make something in the future. They dont have unlimited funds.
Ford GT & New Mustang Cobra are more important then all the other SVT cars.
Plus they may make the selby cobra in the future.
