Default locktronics?

i just purchased a 96 prelude as a beater and maybe something i can fix up. it came with a locktronics system. it only had 1 key. the seller was selling for his uncle and he didn't know anything about it.

I tried looking online, and i couldn't really find anything of value except it is an ignition kill. what worries me is what if i lose that key? how do i get it replaced?

Is it the system with the little chip looking thing that you place in a slot? There are a couple of different versions, but most haven't been sold for 5+ years. I've seen many cars that had them installed and you didn't even have to disarm it to start the car. I doubt you'll be able to find a replacement since I don't think the company is still in business, but worst comes to worst a shop that sell alarms (or even yourself if you're handy) can just uninstall it.
