I found a used 1991 4 Door LX Accord w/ 145,XXX miles on it. The guy is the original owner and he showed me the owners manual with all the dealer maintenance logged in it. Everything was done close to on time by the dealer. He even has his gas/mileage log going back to the day he bought it. Timing belt and water pump done at 100,000 miles. New transmission at 120,000. It has new tires, brakes, and plugs. No major accidents or body work done.

It has the typical rear quarter panel rust and probably needs a new speed sensor soon. Also a couple cracks in the head lights due to living on a gravel road.

KBB lists it as $1,650 fair and he is asking $2,100.

I was thinking about offering $1,500 and not going over $1,650. I found out from his wife that the tags expire in a week and a half and she is anxious to get rid of it before then.

What do you guys think? What's the max you would spend on it?
