I DD a slightly modded 06 Civic coupe and I love it. Reasonably comfortable, can still have fun with it when I want to. I bought it new, and the only problem I've had was a bad throttle body that was replaced under warranty at around 3000-4000 miles. It's been fine ever since (I'm at about 65K miles now).

Mileage wise, it's decent as long as you stay away from the track (I've taken it to the track a couple times, 8 mpg ) On my commute to work, I get about 28 mpg (70% highway, 30% city). I can get about 32-34 mpg on all highway driving.

Styling is subjective, but I'm with you on the sedan's styling. Not a big fan. Have you consider the coupe? Or do you not like its stylng either? I know it's not as practical, but you're looking at the RSX also and it's a coupe (OK, a hatchback). And like you said, the Si has LSD.

By the way, the first year of the Si sedan is 07 (since you said 06'ish sedan in you original post).

Anyway, that's my two cents. Good luck on your search

Ever thought about a TSX? Perfect dd in my opinion, I love my 6spd/navi. But my second choice would be a 4dr Si.

Absolutey love the '13 Fit Sport we just bought. I've been daily driving it for about 2 months now, and it's been great. Averaging about 32 mpg city driving, and about $30 to fill it up. And the interior space for such a small car is insane.

1st gen TSX or 03-07 Accord V6 6MT. My Accord is at 225k miles and still gets low 30's mpg. not to mention its faster than the s in a straight line. RSX is nice but IMO shares too many of the same negatives with the s (buzzy, stiff ride, poor low end tq).

Nice, I'd get an older civic or integra if they weren't such huge theft magnets here in San Antonio / TX. =P

Had a brand new 06 rsx-s and loved it til somebody blew a stop sign and totalled it. If your gonna get one get an 05-06 cuz they looked better . Kinda like getting an ap2 over an ap1 in terms of looks.
