You are right not to trust the reliability! Definitely no substitute to that MDX you bought.

Did you consider the black interior? What made you chose the tan over black? Just curious?

I just liked the tan interior better personally. I know it will be more of a pain with getting dirty but the white with tan interior looks nicer to me. Looks fancier or something haha.

Tan looks nice, I really want my next car to be not all black inside. Everyone has all black interior, its a little depressing especially in car without light colored uppers (pillars and roof wrapped in grey or something).

Congratulations on the purchase, when I first glanced I thought the center stack had 3 screens! Just two, but still, what is displayed on those? Is the top one just navigation?

Yeah I thought of black since it wouldn't look as dirty when it is dirty but I don't believe black is even offered in the white exterior MDX. From what I could tell it was only the tan or a grey color and there is no interior color I dislike more than grey.


The top screen is strictly navigation. The lower one controls everything else. Phone, climate, audio etc and also you input gps info on there etc. Really like the setup!

I didn't have any luck with my 07 MDX. it started to breaking down on the 2nd year of ownership. doors, steering pump, bluetooth, poor MPG, and on top of that, poor service from Acura dealers. I would never buy an Acura.
