M3 as the only car/daily driver?

I know about AA and I would not want my S2000 as winter daily driver. How about one of the Audi Quattro's? Also It seems to me BMW has a four wheel drive that might be fun.

I don't think that it's too fast. I think it doesn't "feel" fast, so it's easy to be moving at almost triple digit speeds.

I know what you mean about midwest roads. The m3 is a harsh ride and you know how those chuck holes and bumps get worse in the winter. Have you ever thought about a subaru (not the sti)? I have a turbocharged baja, it has a softer suspension good ground clerance and it"s pretty damn quick to boot.
