Default Are M3 thefts common?

Someone tried to steal my M3 right out of my driveway the other night. They drilled my keyhole thingy but they didn't go after any other car in the driveway. I thought people didn't steal these things. Theres an S55 AMG, X5, Land Rover, and Matrix in there, but they only went after mine??

That does suck. Can you park it in your garage? You can always order the passenger side keyhole that doesn't have the keylock in it, get it painted, and install it on the driver's side. That's what I did with my old E46, but I did it because it looked clean, not because someone tried to steal my car.

No, my dad parks his car in the garage lol. My passenger side is flush, that is the drivers side.

I know that's the driver's side... I was saying that I took out the key hole and replaced the driver's side with a part that looks exactly like the passenger side without the keyhole in it.

I think he was referring to the M3 being at the back of the driveway.
