Maybach 57 sighting
I saw one of these in a hideous two tone burgundy get-up, at La Jolla Village center in San Diego. Some older gent and his wife. I was amused that they left because they couldn't find a place to dock the behemoth(despite there being a lot of places empty, just too small. I never liked the pictures, but was hoping that seeing one in person might redeem it. Nope. If i'm paying ridiculous sums of money for a car that is intended first as a status symbol and second as a vehicle, I want it to look like a damn status symbol, not a Hyundai XG350. I had to look twice, and only looked that second time because i was amazed at the size of it. I have an uncanny ability to identify cars from great distances with great accuracy, but on first glance I really thought it was a hyundai.
