Mazda S2000
Yea, Mazda is just taking it back. Mazda cars are looking up these days. Now if their quality was as good as Honda's I would Consider a Mazda 6. I think that they look better than the Accords on the outside. The interior is a different story.
Can't vouch for Mazda's other cars, but the Miata is very well built and very reliable. You see lots of 10-14 year old ones around and none of them blow smoke. They are a smaller, lighter and less powerful car but a great little sports car.

Mazda has styled some very attractive cars over the years. Those same cars have also carried some derivative styling from other brands. (2nd Gen RX-7 and the Porsche 944 being a big case in point).
The RX-8 follows that trend in "borrowing" styling from the S2000. At least in my book.
