Is this thing for real?? 263 hp!? 280 lb/ft tq?!?!


0-60 in 5.8 seconds, 6 speed manual, looks awesome, and for 22k!

has anyone test driven one?

i emailed my local mazda dealer, said they jus sold three last week, two more are coming in soon but they already have deposits on them..

not to mention trap speeds of around 100mph. quick little things.

only thing is fwd. torque steer is tried to be controlled by reducing torque output in 1st and 2nd gear though. 3rd gear is where the money is.

as well as road and tracks best under 30k. im waiting to see what kind of deals turn up in december, but considering how hot of an item it is, i dont think theyre going to budge..

A buddy of mine at work just bought one and let me drive it. It looks kinda big in person (or at least to me) You sit really upright and it feels like you're in an SUV but it is very fun to drive and A LOT more practical than the S. I still love my S though.

i need the practicality, but dont want to sacrifice a bit of fun. and the civic si seems underpowered at a measly 200 hp
