Default Mazdaspeed6, BMW330, ap2

Hey all im curious to know what everyone thinks the outcome would be if i went up against these two cars in my town. The one is a BMW 330 convertible, and the other a mazdaspeed 6. Both cars are stock, im pretty sure of it. I'd be running my 07 ap2 with the invidia V3 against them. Any ideas?

330 convertible you should beat handily from any speed...they're not that quick at all. now if you're talking about a 335i convertible thats a different story...

now the mazdaspeed 6...they run about 14 @ 100mph give or take a few for ET and trap speed, so it'll be a good race depending on driver from a dig. from a roll you should take him at higher speeds from what i've read on the internet.

just run them and find out be safe.

As the owner of a Mazdaspeed6, and the future owner of an S2000 who has taken test drives, both new and used, and I can say the Mazdaspeed6 is very underrated.

You're gonna have a hell of a time catching him from a dig (I guess I'm assuming he can launch the car right).. but maybe into the triple digits you'll be there...

From a roll I couldn't say, it depends how well the Mazdaspeed6 owner knows his car (Shifting at 5.5K in a 7K redline car is actually faster because it puts you back at peak TQ, which is over 300LBS)....

Selling the Mazdaspeed, love the car, don't need anything that big, the rear seats have never been sat in, so no need to tote around a 3600LB car...

I also figure you'd take that 330i. The last e90 330i (e.g. mine) has mid 250's HP but it weighs a bunch more than the S, plus IIRC the vert adds weight. His well-driven 0-60 time should be mid 6's.
