Default Motocross on road?!?!?

Ok... so recently I've been seeing a lot of motocross bikes that are equiped with smooth street tires and have lights on them and I think they are really good looking. So I've been trying to shop around the internet for them to see cost and what not but I can't find a damn thing on them.

Now... this is where my confusion comes in... Can you buy these bikes already street equiped or do you have to request it at the dealership when you go to buy them?

I've seen a lot of yamahas (look to be 250's) and saw one Honda (also a 250).

Supermotard are a good laugh to ride. Some come street legal, some are made to be street legal. Great hooliganizm bike..... I used to have a KTM520.

And Ducati has their Hypermotard, either currently or coming soon. KTM has its Duke. BMW has their HP2. Seems to be the hot segment.

The best way to buy a new KTM is to go to www.ktmtalk.com and click on "request a quote". You'll get plenty of quotes from dealers w/ the bike in inventory or on the way!

I bought my 450 XC from a PA shop, and it arrived in a crate. Doing the final assembly was fun!
