I can't add much to the experience regarding owning the car, but as a proud owner of the company*, I support this message.

*Ok, so I bought some stock. Same thing.

At least you could super size a few Big Mac meals with its bull run.

Heck yeah. I bought at $34 and it's been hovering around $90. In the beginning when I told my financial advisor that I really believed in the company and that I wanted to invest heavily, he talked me down to only buying 1/4 of the shares I was planning to buy. I can't complain though.

I spend much less than that on Diesel for a month but I don't drive nearly as much. I think I do in one month what they do in a week.

IIRC, I bought somewhere around 18 and sold somewhere in the low 30's, maybe a year or so ago? Had a good run, but the stock seemed to have plateaued at the time. I'm kicking myself for missing out on this run!

Car has had no issues so far (knock on wood). It's just amazingly quiet, the only issue and I'm sure some of you can relate is the wife not noticing curbs and scratching up a rim.

Oh yeah I also bought the stock at $27 back in January. Let's just say I got enough shares that this purchase is now FREE for me. I haven't figured out the new tax laws and how much I would lose in taxes but I'm getting ready to dump it. I honestly bought the stock thinking it wouldn't hit anywhere near the going rate till 5-10 years down the line. I was also tempted to buy Solar City (Elon's other company) which was hovering around $8 and is now in the $30 range. I'm kicking myself for that one.

I still have to clean her up and get some pics.
