Mp4-12c sighting
Dude, so today I was coming back home and in the left turn lane about a half mile from my house. I'm sitting at the light waiting for traffic to clear so I can turn, and I see this car coming at me and it was pretty amazing how quickly recognizable the car is from a distance in traffic. I rolled my window down and predictably, you can hear the roar of the engine a goods ways off. The car approaches pretty quickly and turns right (my left) without really slowing down at all (probably doing about 40) and it was noticeable how flat it looked through the corner. I was surprised how good the car looked...it wasn't in the popular orange color, it was sort of a dark gray metallic looking color.
Most surprising though was that the driver looked to be less than 30 yrs old.... Possibly by quite a bit. Gotta be daddy's car, right?
I wanted to follow and get another look at it, but by the time I turned he was long gone...
There was a kid with a gtr in the neighborhood that I saw periodically, could be the same (trust funded?) kid, if it is I'm sure I'll see it periodically...

you'd be surprised. On my other private (mostly exotics) forum there are a bunch of mid to late 20s guys with 458s; etc. Most have been in iBanking here in NYC or run their own companies. Out of the first 35 cars mp4-12c's shipment to the US, two were bought from members on my other forum. One was older but the 1st guy was in his early 30s

Come to think of it, on the is-f forum, most of those dudes are early-mid 20s too.
I guess if I had a smaller house and didn't want to retire ever, i could rock a car like that...I just wouldn't ver do that to myself. There's a big difference between being able to buy it and being able to afford it.
