Default MSF completion

I just got home from graduating my MSF course! It was so damn fun, and i can't wait to get my bike. I graduated like 2nd in my class and was the youngest by like a 10 year margin. im 15, since im technically 15 and a half i can go get my motorcycle lisence I have to say the MSF course was unbeleivably easy, and i am now extremely comfortable on a motorcycle. I have decided im gonna get a used Sv650S this coming summer. I'm aiming for about 2-3 grand, and if possible fuel injection, but thats not too important. Anyone else recently graduate MSF?

I graduated the MSF course about 10 months ago. Great experience. Helped quell some of the anxiety about riding a bike and instilled a respect for how much I have yet to learn.

Unfortunately, time and circumstances have dictated that I haven't been on a bike in the last 10 months and I REALLY want to get out and ride before I forget how!

first of all, if its your first bike, you will drop it. and you will feel alot better about dumping a 3500 used bike than your brand new pride and joy. i also enjoyed my 1st gen sv over the 2nd. the 2nd felt more touring oriented than the 1st gen.

i personally think the 1st gen looks better too.

Talking

Ha. I just got back from my MSF weekend crash course. Who was the only one out of 50 with a perfect score??? ME. I guess its not saying much since its a controlled course with crappy little bikes. I am so much more confident now to start riding. I just need my license and insurance and I'm set. After a few thousand miles under my belt, I am looking for a course more tailored to sport bikes.

Anyone else encounter fellow students who you think should not have passed?? There was one guy in my group who got 18 points taken off out off the max 20 to pass. I definitely though he should have been forced to take it again.
