And yes, beautiful example of Mercedez history. I still miss my mom's old amg C36 - it was a much better built car than the amg c32 that she replaced it with.

The C36 was an excellent vehicle, they are tough to find now, especially a nice one. My friend bought one new in 1995 which replaced his 190E. Too bad MB stopped making the I6.

Fantastic find, my friend; and a very rare combo indeed. I too remember this car from my childhood (now 34), and have always wanted one. In my opinion, the best looking SL thus far. Is the rag top black?

We have a vintage MB in our garage as well, and they certainly don't make em' like they used to; yours included.
