To pay that kind of money for another version of a Troll doll has to be driven by some kind of idiosyncratic weirdness. Please don't associate that lump of garbage with our S2000.

They're still better than the old German guy trying to act cool and doing the VW thing with his hands commericals. Glad I don't drive a VW and have to be associated with that. OTOH, our car is often associated with ricers...

all in all, I gotta admit that it was a pretty cool commerical. I remember when I was in the car business, around the time the new accord came out and the element. Honda seemed to be focused on attracting what they called "emotion driven customers". VW was and is doing real well in that market share. I guess that's just their style. The Honda element was right on the dot there. If I lived close to a beach, I'd have to own the element, it's too cool.
