My lease was up on my S2k. And I was looking for a car to replace my baby. After going through various options, I decided to stick with Honda and got my self an 08 Si Sedan. I was worried about being bored with an Si coming from S2k, but I have to say that Si is pretty fun to drive. It will make a perfect daily driver if anyone is looking for one. Now I am saving my pennies so I can get my self an GTR in few years.

Good luck! I decded to go with an 06 civic LX. The new civic is an incredible car, if you dont get one of the poorly built ones. I intend on upgrading the shocks, spring, and tires in the future. How is the acceleration compared to the S2000?
LOL!!! Every thread here is contaminated with GT-R madness...it's a disease!
Hey Platinum, great choice...I'm actually sorta-considering a Civic Si sedan for my _next_ car. I recently sold my ELEMENT and I'm just waiting for the merger to finalize (and make sure I'm still part of the company...LOL!) and then I'll get another car. The Civic Si sedan is a great BANG FOR YOUR BUCK car. Congrats!! Love the color too!!

The acceleration is much smoother than S2000. But it's not that much slower. You will miss the S2k's excitement and the race car like feel. Although you will gain much better ride quality, awesome sound system, and extra rooms. Oh, and the mods are a lot cheaper.
So here is what I can say about the Si.
You will have 75% of S2000's performance and fun while gaining 300% of utility. Not a bad numbers when you consider Si goes for low 20's.
I got the same car in the same color too! (mine is an '07).
I've had mine since July and I'm already bored with it. It does have some decent speed, and good handling, but FWD can only stay entertaining for so long. You'll be bored with it within a year but it is inexpensive, and will tie you over, exactly what I bought it for.
