Which one
GPW S2K
or this one
GGP IS300
For months now I've wanted the IS300 b/c of the 2JZ engine and the horse power you can put through that motor, but I gave up and found the S2K. The funny thing is, I know the kid who's selling the IS300 and talk to him months back. He told me he was thinking of selling it, but damn I didn't know he put that much milage on it. I can probably get the S2K owner down to 18K b/c he been dropping the price on it, but my friend with the IS isn't going take 16K and I'm being real nice about that price.

S2000 is the better sportscar. The IS300 is a better sedan (daily driver) car.
I'm not sure what the facination of having a 2JZ engine is. Guess tha't special and you can make 1000hp, so what?. I have a little old S2000 with no engine mods and it's fast enough for me. It's possible to get hp out of a S2000 with FI also but what's the need?
I could have bought a turbo Supra or a Corvette instead of the S2000 if power was the only important aspect of a car, it's not.
I was just driving my S2000 the other day on a warm sunny day on back roads, and not once did I feel it was underpowered. I reached the limits of the road and my ability before I reached the limits of the car. Adding power to a car is not a magic cure-all. Most of the time a stock car has more power than we need for public roads.
500hp IS300s are for the Fast and Furious crowd (IMO).

I'm probably going to go with the S2K. Which will be my DD, but I have a 94 Intgera GS-R which I bought it at 58,000 miles and I only manage to put 10,000 more miles on it. I really don't go on road trips or drive around much so milage won't be a problem. I will probably let that beast out of its cage on the interstate every so often to keep the power respond good.

wow I think i've seen way too many threads like "help me decide on this" and stuff, and I see comparison of 2 door vert vs 4 door sedan. There really isn't anything we can tell u other than s2k is a damn fun sportscar while the other whatever 4 door sedan is more suited for DD. If u really need a sedan, then buy sedan, if ur life allows u to have a toy car like s2k, then get s2k. Of course owning both is the best like many ppl in this forum.
