Default Need help picking out a new daily

Hey guys, i'm in need of some help picking out a new daily driver since i sold my Audi A8L with my s2k being the daily for the moment. my only criteria is it must be automatic(girlfriend will be learning how to drive on it), 4 door sedan (GF does not like hatchbacks or wagons, much to my dismay), and relatively safe (not gonna get a classic car). hopefully a little bit of fun as well, and no crazy maintenance. I have 10k in cash but i'm willing to do a loan if the car is worth it but for the most part i would like to just pay in full and not have to worry about making payments. My top 3 picks so far are 06-07 Volvo S60 R, 05-07 Subaru Legacy GT, or a Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Pretty excited because once i have a daily, i can turn the s2k into a dedicated track car.

If it was me.....all those limitations and demands, I'd just find a new girlfriend. You are paying so hatchbacks and wagons should be on the menu. A hatch or sedan gives you cargo capacity that a sedan does not. Any woman that concerned over "image' is one I'd drop like a bad habit.

Just came here to say you may be the first person to seriously cross-shop two turbo, AWD sport sedans with a Buick Park Avenue Ultra.

Oh, uh, my vote is S60R or E90 328/330i.

The Jags have horrible reliability as I recall. Same same for the Lincoln LS with the same drive train. But they're not that expensive.

Your girlfriend, like my wife, can buy any car she chooses. It's hers. I drive mine.

The cars.com one I picked happened to have repaired car damage, but I liked the color combo as just an example of the XJ350...

You are recalling a bye gone era decades ago... Check your stats on modern Jags... 4.2 AJV8 is one of the best V8's on the market for a while. ZF transmission.

Digging this one too: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...6372/overview/

I owned the same spec car pictured above for 4-5 years, old it to my accountant who gave it his father 2 years later. Running without issue well over 100K as a daily.. Only expensive item replaced was the air shocks which rebuilt's were installed. What other four door sedans have aluminum double wishbone suspensions front and rear?

If I had to pick:

Late model Ford Taurus (current gen)
Late model Ford Fusion
Older Lexus GS350
(Those jags look pretty nice)
