Default Need options on Vehicles- C4C

Hey fellas, well the parents are in the car market and it seems that we will be taking advantage of the cash for clunkers program. We've got a 97 Jeep cherokee with about 151k on the odo thats going in on the trade in for the 4500$ incentive.

My parents arent really to keen on cars, they see it as transportation only and could care less about gps, heated seats, and traction control. What other options are out there? So far I can only think of anything from the scion line up, yaris, fit, versa and so fourth.

If they decide not to do Cash 4 clunkers what USED cars/suvs with lower mileage can be had in the 12k$ range? Im open to anything.

The cash 4 clunkers program has been temporarily suspended. They ran out of money.

check out toyota.com, they are having some great lease deals when u trade in ur clunker, a toyota rav4 for 149 a month 149 due at signing plus tax, license etc.

it's a five year lease, with a 10k buy option at the end of the lease.
