Need recomendations
Okay so I will be buying a different car probably April or May, and I need recommendations on which cars I should put on my short list to check out.
I'm 23, and newly single
I would like a car that is fast, upgradeable and has as Borat would put it, "the pussay maganet". I have a 96 integra coupe as a daily driver/beater, so this would be a fun/track/date car.
40K is at the top of my budget, but doable if insurance isn't too bad. But Honestly I'd like to stay below 35K.
The cars on my list so far are (all are used of course, I don't buy new)
03 Z06
Pros:fast, fast, fast, easily modifiable, insurance may not be so high,
Cons: maintenance, semi-dated body style, you see vettes everywhere
C6 Vette
Pros: see 03 z06
Cons I see these EVERYWHERE, may not be able to find one in my price range
Lotus Elise
Pros: Hot looks, go cart handling, decently fast
Cons: insurance, sparse interior means might not make a good date car
BMW Z4 M Coupe
Pros: Great looks and styling, great handling, pretty fast
Cons: Maintenance, not easy to mod for more power, might be on upper end of budget
So these are the cars I've planned on looking at and researching more. Can anyone give me more suggestions, or more input regarding these vehicles?
(btw, no more s2000s. I'm done with the S until Honda decides to make it competitive again)

I would go with the M coupe out of those if you're not tracking much. Otherwise I would do elise if you attend more than 6 track days a year. I just can't recommend a vette because they just scream rich red-neck to me (sorry I live in the south), no matter how much of a bargain they are for price - performance ratio.

I'm not sure about a boxter S. They certainly look good, and are faster than the S2000, but maintenance costs will be high, and there arent very many performance parts for them?

Get a TL.

but seriously the TL is a little less car than I'm wanting
Right, but it would show a little more class than a "look at my crotch bulge" Z06 at 23.
It's more practical, better on a date (unless you're hitting the Wendy's drive through) but you still have a little meat, 258 hp, 233 tq (286/256 on the type s) and there's banging room in the back seat.
