This may sound odd, but its not a bad idea. On anew bike like that, I would take off all nice new plastic and either get a set of race skiz or just ride it naked. Saves alot of $$$ if you happen to throw her down......



And set your sag before you go. Little work, but makes a big difference.

that all makes sense but i doubt i'll do it!

i'll take off the mirrors and tape the lights...and get frame sliders before then.

my first goal is breaking it in. i have 4 miles on it and i need a thousand or so more before i'd take it to the track. that's going to be tough since i'm a CPA and tax season is here!

Never rode w/ NESBA although they do ride up here @ Pocono. Can't go wrong with getting a knee down on the track.
