New Classics
the 92 civic hatch did to the import/sport compact scene what the 32 ford did to the hot rod scene.
eg hatch for sure.
i dont care who you are or what you drive now, but i know that everyone of you, me included, drempt of owning a clean ass hatch at some point.
i did have one but it was beat up.
kinda wish i still have it cause now i finally have the finance to make it what i wanted it to be.

classics are cars everyone remembers. not just a nice car few know about.
IE: Z1 (not a whole lot know they even exsist or know about their funky door)
928 (another old porsche people will remember the 944 before they remember the 928)
2nd gen supra( i dont think many know alot about these huge beasts that weight more then 500 s2k's stacked. the most memorable is the 3rd gen)

Saki GT and sexycheto88, just so you guys know, you are off on your Supras, lol
the supra everyone is gaga about is the MKIV, the 4th gen.
the 3rd gen supra is the late 80s early 90s boxy one.

I'd say:
Supra - 4th gen? With the huge ass wing - stock condition only
S2000 - definately
Civic - 89-91 model
Acura Integra Type R - stock form in the white or yellow color
NSX - all years in stock form - values are already rising!
Mazda Rx-7 - again stock or restored condition both generations
I predict the Datsun 240Z and Nissan 300ZX will be the "one" for originality like the old Corvettes are now.
Sport Compact Car magazine did an issue a while back showing the top 100 cars to influence the future collector market. I think I still have it but it showed all of the 80- current year cars that shaped the whole "Sport Compact Car and Tuning Phenomenom" we see now.
Can we fast forward to the future? I wish.
