I dunno...its still kinda early to tell, but the first impression I got is "It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look great either....convservative and un-distinct, but not ugly either"

Again its too early for me to tell...looks like its got tidbits of disguise on it too.

Nice comparison with the hearse. That arc does not seem to fit really at all, but the overall vehicle styling is much softer than the current one.

My guess though is Honda is going to lose market share since the RAV4 has such a powerful engine option now. It's competitive with the 4-cylinder RAV4, but the V6 RAV4 leaves the CR-V in the dust.

I'd be interested to see how many people buy the RAV4 with the V6. Everyone keeps comparing the competition to that motor, but how popular is it?

Kind of like comparing the Acura RL to V8 competitors from MB, BMW, and Audi. 90% of sales are V6, not V8, models...so it's really a moot point in terms of market share.

Same goes for I4 vs V6 in the small SUV market. Most don't want or need a big V6.

bOOstn beat me too it. My first glance and I thought that thing looks like a hearse. I don't like it. I think the current one looks much better and it won't tow the 2000lbs I need to tow.............

I was really thinking I would see something neeat when I read the title, but its kinda fugly.

I think an even better example is the Accord...everyone screamed it NEEDED a V6, but how many actually buy one? What's the ratio of 4cyl/6cyl Accords sold, anyone know? We've had 4 Accords, all 4cyl, and I didn't think they were particularly underpowered for what they were. We also had a V6 1st gen Chrysler Concorde (the 214hp 3.6L version) and it didn't feel any more powerful than the 4cyl Accords, which are all around 150-160hp.
