Default New daily replacement

I have been wanting to change my daily beater, a 2018 Impreza, to either a used 2018 S4, 2014 S8 or even another Subi but an STI. Bought the Impreza because of my long commute. Didnt want to put on a lot of miles on a new STI at the time. Now I have a shorter commute and want to get something nicer and more fun. Which would you choose? I had an 2001.5 S4 and loved it. The Impreza is practical but boring to drive. A used S8 can be had for cheap.

Other than the cars that you listed, what is your budget?

Cannot say I am digging either of your picks so far. I'd keep your current car if those are the only two you are considering.

Might be a good idea. I am waiting for the 2021 Bronco as the eventual replacement.

Any reason they're all AWD? Is that a must? If not, E90 M3 or CTR.

Look for a 2016 to 2017 BMW M2. The used market has a good price point on that vehicle.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will look into them. I have a chance to buy a 22k miles, pristine 2011 e92 M3 comp pkg which is a garage queen from my friend. I know about the rod bearing issues and the other ones. Seems like I should stay away.

How much do you value your friendship?
