New GTR Video
just like this other best motoring video comparing a r34gtr against a supra, i'd take the r35gtr over the c6z if it's capable of the same power...what good is all the power the ls7 can put down if it cant grab the road for its life....awd with high power on a road course is hard to beat. drag racing is another point..
There's one post that said, "What's the point? You could do the same thing to a 350Z for much less." How stupid!
If power is all that matters, then yes, that's true. What about figuring in the cost of a superior suspension to the Z's? The cost of superior AWD system? The cost of superior brakes? The cost of superior material quality? The cost of more beautiful interior and exterior? The advantage/cachet of having a higher-end car? Et cetera! Adding all the costs and benefits of those, the GTR would be a bargain compared to modifying the Z. It's not just all about power. Of course a Z could get the same power with a turbo, but could not get the other aspects of the GTR. One might as well get a used Mustang and modify it to get much more power.
